Messiah Sing-Along

An annual tradition for over fifteen years, this interactive concert might be your holiday season's favorite memory. We'll provide the conductor, terrific soloists, and accompaniment. You, the audience, will serve as the choir! Bring your own score or borrow one at the door. Singers of all ages are welcome.

Purchasing tickets in advance is not necessary. We will have a free-will donation.

Sunday with Sebastian

In this installment of Sunday with Sebastian, Associate Professor of Organ at the UIUC School of Music will perform JS Bach's Organ Works.

In early 2018, Professors Charlotte Mattax Moersch and Dana Robinson from the UIUC School of Music inaugurate a new series, “Saturdays with Sebastian.” In monthly concerts over the next two years, they hope to perform the complete keyboard and chamber works of Johann Sebastian Bach.

Mattax inaugurated the series in the spring of 2018 with concerts at the Krannert Art Museum.

This event is free and open to the public. There will be a collection plate for donations.

Young Baroque Artist Competition Showcase Concert (YBAC)

Join the BACH Choir, the talented winners of our annual high school student-artist competition, and Mahomet-Seymour High School Chamber Choir for a joint concert! During the first half, student-artist winners will bring fresh interpretations of Baroque classics. The second half will feature the combined forces presenting Leonard Bernstein's powerful Chichester Psalms for the first time.

BACH explores themes of life and death with unifying texts of a variety of sacred and secular traditions. Featuring Tarik O'Regan's phenomenal 2005 work Triptych and J.S. Bach's stirring Cantata 4, this final program of our season will be one not to miss.
